"Stonewell is made from the very best of the superlative Barossa Shiraz vineyards available to Peter Lehmann. The grapes are drawn only from low-yielding vineyards in the drier western areas of the Barossa Valley. These vineyards, some planted well over 100 years ago, produce sparse bunches with tiny berries small black jewels the secret of Stonewell Shiraz".

Matured in new French oak for 18 months (Partial maturation in American oak too). An explosion of dark chocolate and prunes reined in by fine dusty tannins and harmoniously integrated oak.

Ready to Drink? Yes and no. Whilst with decanting this wine is wonderful now it will mature for many more years to come. Small production.
