A truely wonderful wine produced in the tiniest of quantities. 50% Malbec, 10% Syrah, 15% Bonarda, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Tannat.
Hand picked, destemmed and lightly crushed with an extended maceration of 30 days. The root stocks used are ungrafted, as Argentina was lucky enough to avoid the dreaded Phylloxera aphid.
14 months in 50% new Amercian barrels and 50% in second year American barrels. Estimated maturation period is 10-15 years.
