Rosé wines are not just for summer drinking but a whole category of wine with many complexities and depth of charater in their own right. They have the advantage of being very adaptable with food and can be matched with many dishes such as steak, turkey, roast ham, pork, salads, creamy pastas and many vegetarian dishes. Rosé wines can be dry or sweeter with the lightness of white wine but with the deep fruit flavours and alcohol of red wine. They are probably more akin to white wines and therefore should be served chilled.
