Whisky
Whisky's history is shrouded now in the mists of time. Discovered through the process of distillation followed by softening over time in wood.
Styles vary from Lowland Malts, Speyside or Highland Malts to the very peaty and smoky Islay malt Whiskies. Each distillery has a story, a history and at one point most distilleries used to be owned and run by locals or UK citizens. However much has changed, yet some smaller distilleries have survived the multinational corporate buy-outs and some have also fairly recently been re-opened by whisky loving UK investors.
The distilleries like Speyside from the Highlands, Bruichladdich from Islay, Benromach from speyside are just a few of the superb smaller privately owned malt whiskies that we offer.
