Spanish wines are amongst some of the finest in the world and have evolved tremendously since the late 1960's and 1970's. Production methods have evolved and modernised themselves yet compared with some countries, the top flight wines of Spain are still relatively affordable by most people. With a great array of indigenous grape varieties like Tempranillo, Mazueolo, Graciano, Albarino, flavours and tastes are varied throughout vinous Spain. Classic wine growing regions like Rioja, Penedes, Ribera del Duero are making better and better wines. Many of the Spanish wines that we list are also organic, caring more for their environment and health, as well giving you a better quality of wine. Producers like Albet I Noya of Penedes. Other superb wines that we list are Riojan wines from the much acclaimed Marques de Riscal as well the superb smaller Riojan estate of Bodegas Vina Cerrada.
