Chardonnay Wines
The unbiquitous Chardonnay. Thrives in most situations and expresses off-dry to dry notes. Combining tropical fruits with apples and peachy hints. Can also be quite mean and minerally especially if grown in Burgundy in France. Suits oak but doesn't need it to achieve greatness. However when fermented and or matured in oak Chardonnay wines can mature for many years and gain a buttery and nutty flavour with the colour becoming more golden and rich.
