Alsace Wines
Alsace is one France's most classical wine producing regions. Being the centre of contention between France and Germany for many years, now back under the parenthood of France. Nestled just under the Vosges mountains and split into two key growing regions. Bas Rhin and Haut Rhin.
Alsace is the only classic French wine region that has built a reputation on the concept of varietal wines. The region produces rich dry white wines with beautifully focused fruit. The wines are equally well suited to food as they are to drinking on their own.
Top French wine magazine 'La Revue du Vin de France' recently voted Cave Hunawihr the best co-operative in Alsace and number three in France. Under the efficient direction of Francois Bosch and the dynamic winemaking of Nicolas Garde, Hunawihr make high quality wines that show real varietal character and at great prices too!
