Languedoc Wines
Languedoc wine comes from the very south of France, just about. Magnificent countryside, flowing rivers, valleys ... the Languedoc represents food and wine heaven really.
The Languedoc wine growing area is spread over mostly the Languedoc & Roussillon regions and forms the main part of the Vin de Pays d'Oc category.
The growers here are kicking-ass, fighting back to regain their position lost to the New World mostly (Australia in the main). Languedoc wine now comes with funky packaging, richer, juicier wines, more single varietal labelling ... and it's working. Not only that, but hey the wine is good too!
The main estate that we list is the superb Domaine Paul Mas producing some great wines across the board. If you want new world fruit but from France then look no further.
