Argentinean Red Wines
Malbec is one of the main grapes used in Argentinean wine production. It was introduced to Argentinean soil in the 19th century and has adapted particularly well to the climate in Mendoza, Argentina's dominant wine region. Malbec produces red wine with luscious intense colour, good structure and loads of fruit.
Other grapes used in the production of Argentinean red wine include Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
