Semillon Wines
Found from Bordeaux/France to Australia. Can be dry, sweet and used as a blend with Sauvignon Blanc. A grape with many uses and is a good tool for the white wine maker to have. Sauternes in Bordeaux uses the grape when its shrivelled for its sweet wines. Australia especially in the Hunter Valley can produce some stunning fat and dry examples that will mature for decades.
