Nebbiolo Wines
Nebbiolo is a giant of a grape variety. Indigenous to Italy, specifically Piedmont but now also being tried in the new world.
However when we speak of Nebbiolo we think of Barolo. Nebbiolo wines are capable of achieving the greatest heights. Wines with rich brooding fruit, coating tannins, long agaeing and that classic dry finish.
Nebbiolo can also be found in the superb wines from the Langhe region but actually with the Barolo classification.
The Nebbiolo wines that we list are currrently from the superb Varaldo Estate and the Barolo from Casa Marteletti.
