Sangiovese Wines
Sangiovese is very much the back bone of many Italian wines, especially in and around Tuscany. It is also arguably amongst an elite group of top flight red grape varieties capable of producing wines of world class.
Chianti is the grapes main home in Italy, can be blended with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon but will always be the main part of any Chianti. Is also the main grape variety in wines like, Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and Morellino di Scansano.
