Carmenere Wines

Carmenere has long been the main indigenous grape variety of Chile. However only until recently had they discovered it!! For years they had been gowing and cultivating what they thought were Merlot grapes, which infact they were not!

Carmenere is similar in style to Merlot, especially when grown in Chile yet it has a bigger degree of earthiness, spice and over all body when made well.

When made well it can mature a very long time. Our Carmenere list is growning and at present we are very proud indeed to be listing the superb value organic Carmenre from Vinos Organicos Emiliana from the Colchagua Valley.
