Argentinean Rose Wine
Over half of Argentina’s vineyards were planted with two local grapes Criolla and Cereza. These grapes are neither white or red but in fact pink where they have proved popular in rose style wines at the lower end of the market.
However latterly Argentinean wine has evolved and strengthened as a quality New World alternative and that includes Argentinean Rose Wine. And why not! Great red grapes make for excellent rose wine and the Crios de Susana Balbo Rose Malbec is that to a T!
Rose wines are great all year round, giving you a weightier wine than many whites yet they maintain the crisp and fresh qualities of a white wine. Perfect for any occasion and a wide variety of foods.
