This wine first came into the UK about 10 years ago and represented a watershed in winemaking. Extremely soft, forward and rich, 100% Gamay wine.

Vinification is in stainless steel and fermentation is 34% Carbonic Maceration (Whole Cluster fermented) and 66% traditional, temperature controlled to 85F. The wine is matured for 4 months in stainless steel post fermentation before bottling and release.

Wine Reviews: Decanter Magazine, July 2007, Highly Rated with 3 Stars and great summer drinking.

Ready to Drink? Yes but will also keep a while quite easily.

Food and Wine Matches? Chicken, veal, pork, salmon, or even a rich goats cheese salad with caramelized red onions.
