Our extra virgin olive oil comes from Planeta in Sicily. This oil deserves its reputation as one of the finest quality oils on the market today and in our opinion, is like drinking 'liquid emerald'. The new Planeta olive-press for the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil was built in 2003 among the family owned groves which face the sea at Caparrina, near Menfi. The varieties grown are Cerasuola, Biancolilla and Nocellara. They are handpicked and cold pressed to achieve the highest quality olive oil.
