The Susana Balbo connection continues with this stunning Malbec. Susana Balbo's husband, Pedro Marchevsky, makes this wine that shows off the terrior of Mendoza...it's complex, with baked cherry and dry mineral character. Fine tannin on the end and a delicate, tapered finish demonstrate its finesse.
Reviews: Captivating aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, blackberry, violet, minerals and sexy oak spices. Sweet, primary and fleshy; a real fruit bomb of a Malbec, but with plenty of underlying shape and structure. Finishes very long, with substantial dusty tannins. Ready to Drink? Yes and no. Decanted the wine displays delicious fruit, complexity and velvet like tannins. However will mature nicely over the next 3-5 years.
Food and Wine Matches: Paella, griddled steak, big Italian sausages etc.
