The property belongs to the same owner as Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse. The vineyard occupies a privileged situation, with the limit of Saint-Julien name, on the commune of Cussac. The estate produces round and fruity wines which have a very large smoothness. Lamothe Bergeron also produce a second wine, resulting mainly from the youngest vines and bottled at the estate under the name of Romefort estate. The Chateau, Lamothe Bergeron, was promoted Cru Middle-class Superior at the time of the revision of the classification of 1932, occurred in June 2003.

The usual blend is perdominately Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Ready to Drink? Yes indeed. So soft and integrated now, silky tannins that you hardly notice and beautiful elevated berry nose that follows through onto the palate and the finish.

Food and Wine Matches: Griddled chicken with balsamic vinegar or even oven roasted salmon fillets.
