Recioto della Valpolicella Classico from Tesauro. A dessert wine heaven. Dried red berries, liquorice, alcohol, body, thickness, richness the list of adjectives would be endless.A gorgeous sweet wine from this super little co-operative in Veneto, Italy.

Ready to Drink? Yes but can be left a bit longer as well.

Food and Wine Matches: With Recioto it has to be Gorgonzola, Docelatta, Teleggio and most rich, creamy, smelly Italian cheeses.

This wine is delicous, though perhaps abit sweet for some peoples taste it is very nice. Almost port like in charachter, with subtle oak flavours.Fantastic. (Posted on 26/03/2010)
