A superb estate which is situated on the border between the Abruzzo and Le Marche. Massimo Bernetti, director of the estate has shown unwavering commitment to his quest for quality, refining the wine making process through continued experimentation and vineyard maintenance.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is pure fruit and reflects the terroir superbly. Soft cherry and earthy notes with just a subtle hint of tannin and a soft warming finish.

Ready to Drink? Yes indeed.

Food and Wine Matches: Pasta for sure with a tomato based sauce, plenty of garlic and basil too!

    Upon, initial opening the wine was oaky, and had a very short finish, We left the bottle for a day or two, and revisited it, revealing a completely new wine, it was pruny, less oak, and all round delicous, for the price, this wine after a day or two is fabulous. (Posted on 20/03/2010)
