The wines of Taylor are produced from two of the greatest vineyards in the Douro valley. At Vargellas we have the highest concentration of old vines of any quinta in the Douro. Coaxing even the small yield that they produce is hard work which must all be done by hand. This contrasts with Terra Feita where some of the most advanced viticultural experiments in batch planting are taking place.

Quite a deep ruby colour, with an ever so slight mature appearance. It has a rich, slightly sweet entry, middle-full weight body and an attractive fruit-laden, lingering length, underpinned by the firm dry tannins.
