Iona Sauvignon Blanc. A stunning, rich, deep, aromatic, sought after Sauvignon Blanc with hints of herbs and goosberry from the district of Elgin in South Africa. The Elgin estate was identified for its longer cooler growing season giving us this fabulous Sauvignon Blanc with its long long finish.
Review: Matthew Dukes Top 250, 2006 Edition: "Shockingly pure, bracingly dry and aromatically electric, Iona 2005 is a lesson in sheer class. Andrew and Niels Verburgs single-minded, tunnel- visioned one-mission wine making completes its brief to excite, amaze, impress, refresh and satiate the drinker. I can finally say, with conviction, that this is the finest SA Sauvignon I have ever tasted."
