Mainly sourced from the estate's wire trained vines, the grapes are selected rigorously on the purpose-built table and are de-stemmed prior to fermentation in stainless steel at 28C for around 10 days. Malo in stainless steel is followed by ageing for 13 months in French oak and then 12 months in bottle.

Intense, almost opaque ruby red. Excellent integration of oak and fruit on the nose. Mulberries, mature black fruits and mineral notes. Soft and ripe in the mouth with a powerful sweet tannin structure coated with toasty, spicy, creamy new oak.

Ready to Drink? Can be drunk now, best to decant though! Will mature further.

Food and Wine Matches: This wine loves red meat. Steak is probably best.
